Issue 14 #InTheSpotlight – the top 10!

Yes, it’s that time again…we’re excited to reveal our top 10 #InTheSpotlight entries!

Just under 300 of you sent us your links to consider, and we really enjoyed spending the week having a good read of each and every one.

Picking a top 10 was incredibly difficult, we had so many great blogs to pick from, but we have managed to narrow it down to this selection of amazing blogs.

In the end, we decided to go for the blogs we found ourselves naturally returning to – the ones that made us hungry for more content.

Well done to everyone who entered themselves; sometimes it feels strange nominating your own blog for something but we’re really glad you did!

Three of the blogs below will be featured in issue 14 of the magazine – exciting – and we will contact the top three within the next week.

Have a read of them, comment below with your favourites of the 10 and don’t forget to tweet us your thoughts, too!

  1. Rhianna Olivia

Rhianna’s back to blogging after a beautiful rebrand of her website (previously called Robowecop). We love the new pastel header and her blogging advice posts are just as brilliantly written as they’ve always been.

Maria J logo

  1. Maria . J

Maria’s blog is one of our favourites for all things beauty-related. Her reviews are spot on, with gorgeous imagery that we wish we could create ourselves, and we also really enjoy her fashion and travel posts.

Unlikely Dad logo

  1. UNLIKELY DAD

Tom’s blog is one that has very recently come onto our radar, and we’re so glad it did! As an adoptive gay dad, he gives a unique perspective on the life-changing experience that is being a parent.

Safeera Sarjoo logo

  1. Safeera Sarjoo

Safeera shares her thoughts and opinions on South Asian culture, and we love how open and honest she is with what she writes. Her content is unique, real and evergreen – definitely worth the visit for a good read.

Immy May logo

  1. Immy May

Immy’s one of the loveliest bloggers we’ve met and her blog is a great read. From baking recipes to travel posts to fitness advice, there really is something for everyone on her blog and her Instagram is pretty fab too.

  1. Endless Distances

Sarah’s blog covers three main topics – travel, yoga and poetry. We loved her un-guide to London for some suggestions of less central neighbourhoods to explore next time you’re in the city.

Thats Just Tutu logo

  1. thatsjusttutu

If you want some serious fashion inspiration, we cannot recommend Tutu’s blog enough! We love the way she combines photos of her latest outfits with lifestyle blog posts. Visit her for all things fashion, lifestyle and parenting.

Hannah Lucy logo

  1. Hannah-Lucy

Hannah’s blog photography is what first attracted us to her blog, but her writing style is what had us hooked from the first post. We love the poetic flow of her posts and how the photos perfectly compliment the words.

Lexi Life logo

  1. LexiLife

Lexi is another blogger whose photography has us instantly clicking through to each new post on her blog. We love reading her fashion, beauty and lifestyle posts and she also makes some really great YouTube videos.

Desert Island Skin logo

  1. Desert Island Skin

CJ’s skincare photography is just beautiful, we love the way he incorporates plants into his flatlays. His posts are really informative and perfect for getting some good skincare recommendations from.

As we mentioned at the beginning of this post, we will be picking three of these lovely blogs to feature in the magazine so don’t be shy in letting us know which are your favourites.

If you want to nominate your own blog for #InTheSpotlight we’ll be opening nominations again in June/July so keep an eye on our Twitter page!

What a fab list, I’m particularly pleased to see Tom The Unlikely Dad on it. He is a fantastic writer and a rising star in the blogging world . I love his angle on being a dad , and his writing is always first class, I always look forward to his posts . Well done Tom you deserve this .

I love reading Immy’s blog. I find it really interesting especially the travel posts she writes.

I always read Immays blog, it’s so down to earth and full of inspiration! The blog features everything from fashion to food, beauty to holidays, what’s not to love! Also, being from Devon, it’s a really easy and relatable blog to read rather than most which are based in or around London.

Immy May! Shecomes across so personable and friendly. Her sense of humour and love of food is also right up my street! Top 3 for Immy!
